a.Manage incidents, including via telephone, email, web reporting or network monitoring tools

b.Documentation, recording the & updating incident details in Siebel.

c.Communication, alerting technical staff via assignments and escalating to management

d.Support & Classification, making an initial assessment into the nature of the incident, assessing the severity, impact and risk. Also comparing the incident to others and referring to Problem Management if appropriate

e.Allocating to relevant IT service provider

f.Reviewing progress of the request and communication to customers
